| A. Flood contamination inside homes, offices and factories often leads to microbial contamination once the drying out process has started. Fungi and Moulds release chemicals that can be rapidly and easily detected with a PIDs (Photo Ionisation Detectors) for screening purposes. These are available for purchase or short-term hire.
PIDs are simple to use, highly sensitive, portable instruments which enable rapid assessment of degree and extent of contamination. Simple guidance and how to use these instruments is available.
