My GasCheck instrument is showing me a fan error. Why?
Answer: The fan assembly is producing a higher than accepted current limit. Return to Shacwity for service.
Is my GasCheck intrinsically safe?
Answer: Look for the 'is' at the end of the number. E.g. 3000is. GasCheck instruments which have black mouldings are intrinsically safe. Instruments which have grey mouldings are not intrinsically safe.
How do I convert cc/sec to ppm on my GasCheck B3 or 3000?
Answer: Ideally you should use your GasCheck 5000is/ GasCheck G which both have ppm capability and therefore are more accurate.
