 How can I dispose of my instrument?

Answer: Please take them to a registered recycling centre, where the instruments are broken down/recycled/disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.

 

 Can I obtain a copy of your instrument ATEX Certificates?

Answer: Yes you can. Please see documents listed below. 

 

Is Shawcity ISO certified?

Answer: Yes. Please click here to download the ISO Certificate.

 

Can I get a replacement calibration certificate?

Answer: Yes. Please contact us with the serial number of your instrument.

 

Is my instrument intrinsically safe?

Answer: Please check your user manual or on the product page on the webste.

 

What operating system do I need for Ion Science Software?

Answer: PhoCheck EX = Windows 98 or higher (needs an IR link box)

FirstCheck, FirstCheck+, PhoCheck+= Windows XP, Windows 98 (please check with our service department first) or higher

GasCheck 5000is= Windows 98 or higher (needs an IR link box)

 

Disposable Cylinders of Calibration Gas - How do I dispose of them?

Answer: Follow the advice on the Materials Safety Data Sheet. Once completely empty you can dispose of the cylinders as you normally would ordinary metal waste.

 

Where can I get a copy of the User Manual for my instrument?

Answer: You can download your product manual by searching for your instrument using the search bar and downloading the document on the right hand side of the page

 

I need some further information about legislation and monitoring, where should I go?
