My PhoCheck Tiger is now not working after the latest firmware upgrade?
On the odd occasion customers report connectivity issues between Tiger instruments and Tiger PC software, the solution is usually simple; update the Tiger PC version. Conflicts occur when instruments with newer firmware are connected to computers with older software; in short the data coming from the instrument is unrecognised by the PC software. This can be avoided by updating the software first and keeping it up to date. Click here
What if I rented the Tiger?
If you are a company that has rented Tiger instruments, the software on the memory stick remains as originally supplied. In this case the content of the memory stick must be replaced with the latest version found on the Ion Science website: Click here
When replacing the software on the memory stick please note the following:
1. Delete all content from the memory stick before placing the new version on it.
2. The version of TigerPC software from the website is in a ‘Zipped’ format so the content must be extracted before its content are placed on the USB memory stick
