Managing Director: Neil O'Regan
Neil joined Shawcity in 2008 as the Managing Director taking over
from David Chapman the retiring founder of Shawcity.
Neil has worked within the Gas Detection Industry for 7 years and ran his own successful
Fibre Optic business before that.
Neil has steered the business through the difficult economic situation and restructured the business
to continue developing the company profile as a market leader in Health and Safety, Occupational
Hygiene and Environmental Monitoring solutions.

|

Customer Service Director: Paul Walton
Paul started at shawcity as a sales rep in 1980. He became Sales
and Marketing Manager in 1983 and Sales and Marketing Director in 1990.
He has over 30 years experience in the field.
In 2010 Paul assumed responsibility for Customer Support and now holds the
position of Customer Support Director.

Service Manager: Frank Izzo
Frank joined Shawcity in 1999 as a Service Engineer and became
the Service Manager in 2003.
He has over 25 years of Engineering experience.
Frank is responsible for the service, repair and calibration of service and
hire instruments and systems and will respond to any technical questions
that you may have.

Service Technician: Emma Broad
Emma has been with Shawcity for a year now, initially in the Stores
Department, dealing with goods in/out and stock control.
Her duties expanded during her first year to the assisting of
service/repair department, building maintenance and IT support.
Emma has now joined the servcie team fully as a Service Technician.

National Sales Director: Julian Butler
Julian has been in the Gas Detection industry for the last seven years after many years in the electronics industry.
He is a NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety professional with Occupational Health experience in Sound, Vibration,
Solvent and Dust measurement who now specialises in PID Technology , Ground Gas monitoring and both Fixed and
Portable Gas Detection Systems.
Julian says “… We don’t just sell boxes but provide all our customers with tailored solutions
to their individual needs. We listen to our customers, that’s why they keep coming back…”

Sales Manager: Alex Graft
Alex comes from a background of noise and vibration instrumentation and
has provided equipment solutions and consultancy based work in these areas.
He is a member of the Occupational hygiene society and is IOSH accredited.
Since joining Shawcity he has become very familiar with sampling technologies for gas,
dust and particularly PID technology.
He takes pride in his relationships with both customers and suppliers and always
endeavors to help provide solutions to applications which are always bespoke for the client.
He hopes he can be of assistance with any of the areas mentioned or if
not he will always find the information from someone who can.

Midlands Sales Executive: Tony Martin
Tony spent 27 years working at Pepperl Fuschs as a sales Engineer for the company's
sensors devices. After the company branched into the Instrinisical Safety Market, Tony
was promoted to Sales Manager to look after that side of the business. His skills pushed
the team forward and enabled the company to become market leaders and to overcome
Intrinsical Safety barriers.
Tony is now representing the Shawcity sales team in the Midlands and looks at his new
role as a challenege due to the wide range of products in the portfolio.

Northern Sales Representative: Dave Neil
David joined the monitoring industry in 1991 with Industrial and Marine Acoustics of Scarborough,
later to become Larson Davis, where he was responsible for the sales of the Larson Davis range
of noise and vibration meters. This continued through a couple of company changes until he now
finds himself with Shawcity.He has spent many years providing Intrinsically Safe instruments to the
offshore industry and more recently helping with Hand Arm Vibration solutions across all industries in the UK.

Peter has been with Shawcity for over eight years. He responsible for the over all operation of goods in goods out,
service department, stock and stores area ,health and safety and building maintenance.

Communications Manager: Nicola Stokes
Nicola joined Shawcity in 2010 .
She has been a keen marketer for over 3 years and has undertaken
many projects in her spare time,including setting up a charity,
organising, running and marketing bespoke charity events and even
volunteering in marketing roles.
Nicola likes to ensure her standard of work is high and is in belief
that to be a good marketer you must continue to learn and adapt to your
market.
Nicola hopes to push Shawcity forward using innovative and engaging
marketing techniques.
Nicola is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is currently studying
for her CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

Tracey joined Shawcity in 2003 as accounts assistant and during 2010
progressed to the position of Finance Controller.
She is responsible for all aspects of the finance department.

Quality Manager: Helen Lawrence
Helen started at Shawcity in 1994 initially providing sales and
marketing support.
Over the years Helen has worked in all areas of administration.
During 2005 Helen was appointed Quality Manager and now
manages all Quality aspects at Shawcity.

Natalie became part of the administration team 10 years ago and is now responsible for
Shawcity’s UK and worldwide sales and enquiries.

Nina joined Shawcity Ltd in 2002 and works within the vibrant

Ros has been at Shawcity for nearly 7 years and has covered a multitude of roles.
She primarily began by handling all Goods In and Goods Out, with full ownership for sending out
instrument calibration reminder letters.
Ros now is a permanent member of the administration team.
