The structural change within the group reflects the level of confidence the owners have in Shawcity’s future, elevating the business to occupy a more prominent position.  Membership of the group structure offers benefits including shared expertise, but in terms of day-to-day activity, it very much remains ‘business as usual’ for Shawcity. As one of the earliest pioneers of safety instrumentation in the UK, Shawcity will continue to operate independently and supply instrument sales, hires, service, calibration and repairs to customers across the UK & Ireland. Our 20+ manufacturer partnerships allow us to offer one of the most comprehensive and impartial instrument ranges on the market, covering gas detection, fit testing, sound & noise, vibration, air quality & dust, asbestos and heat stress – a portfolio designed to suit individual requirements and budgets. We also supply City Technology gas sensors to a global customer base and have a specialist team offering design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fixed gas detection systems.
