We are looking for a Trainee Service/Calibration Technician to join our busy Service Department. The role involves maintaining and repairing monitoring instruments to certified standards.
As a distributor working across both private and public sectors, Shawcity’s wide-ranging B2B customer base includes SMEs through to some of the world’s most recognisable brands, from construction to offshore and motorsport to museums.
Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, responsibilities for this role include inspection, calibration, servicing, repair, and administrative tasks. This hands-on role seeks a candidate with technical acumen, good communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have the right aptitude to work in a technical workshop environment and all training will be provided.
The salary bracket starts at £17,000, with the potential for a higher starting salary depending on experience and existing skills.
