Revolutionary Area Monitoring with Honeywell RigRat

A portable multi-gas area monitor, RigRat has been launched as the most user-friendly device of its kind on the market.

It has been designed to be deployed as an extra level of protection to monitor area gas leaks, in addition to personal devices which monitor the breathing zone. 

Weighing just 8kg, the device can easily be carried to different sites and has many flexible applications, including zone declassification, turnarounds, confined spaces, routine maintenance, fence line monitoring and more.

RigRat is so easy to use, workers can operate it with confidence to monitor gas threats in their proximity indoors or outdoors with no expertise required.

Simple set up can be achieved via the smartphone which can also control alarm set points and stores calibration records.

With six sensor slots, the device can monitor several gases simultaneously with a choice of electrochemical, PID, infrared and catalytic bead sensors. Gas options include: Combustible gases (IR and LEL), carbon dioxide, VOCs, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, oxygen, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen cyanide, ammonia and chlorine.

Portable area monitoring has never been this easy.

There are also options to add noise or meteorological sensor and several units can be positioned to form a wireless safety perimeter. Gas readings, location and other data can be displayed on any device with an internet connection for fast, informed decisions. A pumped version is also available for remote sampling.
